My girlfriend surprised me by suggesting we take part in the World Naked Bike Ride in London on Sat June 12th. We saw the other contributions and thought we could share some of our memories of a wonderful day. Men and plenty of women of all shapes and ages came together to celebrate body freedom, protest oil dependency, highlight the need to curb the car culture and to fight for bicycle rights. Well, for all of those good reasons and also to just get nekkid and ride around good ol' London Town in the buff! We had such a great day and met so many fantastic people. I will say it again: Total respect to women of all shapes and sizes and ages who have the integrity and self-confidence to participate fully nude in public events that are billed and promoted as NAKED events.
