The sky was overcast and the Pacific ocean was chilly, but I still couldn't resist playing in the crashing surf. As a middle aged 55 year old mom, I felt as though the hands of time had turned back 40 year ago to when I played nude in the surf on this same beach as a teenage girl, with no worries to cloud my mind. I think maybe the secret to aging well is "Never lose your playful spirit, be spontaneous, act freely on your desires and have fun" just as you did so many years ago in your youth.
